Low carb tuna cakes and tartar sauce is easy to make. Tartar sauce will up the fat content in this recipe and tuna provides tons of protein. This is the first of three courses I plan to make from the ingredients I have in my pantry. Tatar sauce (aioli sauce):
1/3 cup mayo
3 cloves garlic minced or paste
3 pickle spears
1 lemon
1 tbsp mustard
Salt pepper
Allulose (if you want it sweeter)

1) Depending on the texture of the sauce you want chop pickles either fine or course.
2) Use either a garlic paste and finely mince cloves before adding to the mix.
3) Mix all ingredients and cover and refrigerate. Good for 2 weeks.

Tuna patty:

2 cans of tuna (drained)
1 – 2 tbsp cup mayo
1 whole egg
2 tbsp parmesan
salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp onion powder (optional)
Vegetable oil for frying

1) Drain tuna pat with a paper towel
2) Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl
3) Heat oil in frying pan over medium-high heat about 350f
4) Place a hand full of the tuna mix into the frying pan and press down and flatten with the back of a spoon or spatula.
5) Fry in about 1/2 inch deep hot oil for about 2- 3 minutes on each side until browned and crusted.
It helps to not flip it until the side forms a browned crust.
